Lilla Lee is a South Korean soprano. She graduated from the Milan Conservatory and, in the same year, attended the advanced training course at the Arturo Toscanini Academy of Singing in Parma. She later completed an advanced vocal program at the Novara Conservatory and furthered her studies at the Orazio Vecchi Academy in Modena.

Among her recent engagements are appearances as Abigaille in Nabucco at the State Theatre in Prague, Odabella in Attila at the Seoul Arts Center, Maddalena in Andrea Chénier at the Daegu Opera House, and the title role in Turandot at the Teatro Sociale di Ferrara in Italy, the Sejong Arts Center in Seoul, and Teatr Wielki in Poznań. She has also performed Cio-Cio-San in Madama Butterfly at the Sofia Opera and Ballet in Bulgaria and at the Saaremaa Festival in Estonia.

Her upcoming performances in the 2026 season include the role of Aida at Teatr Wielki in Poznań and Turandot at Theater Magdeburg in Germany.

In 2008, she made her debut as Turandot at Opera Lombardia and has since performed this role on numerous stages, including the Teatro Filarmonico di Verona, the Polish National Theatre in Warsaw, the National Opera in Sofia, the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv, Teatro Grande di Brescia, Teatro Fraschini di Pavia, Teatro Sociale di Como, Teatro Sociale di Rovigo, Teatro Comunale di Ferrara, Sejong Arts Center, Daegu Opera House, and the Istanbul Opera Festival, among others.

Her repertoire spans a wide range of dramatic roles, including Abigaille in Nabucco, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Odabella in Attila, Aida in Aida, Turandot in Turandot, Manon Lescaut in Manon Lescaut, Minnie in La fanciulla del West, Tosca in Tosca, Cio-Cio-San in Madama Butterfly, and Maddalena in Andrea Chénier. She has performed these roles at major opera houses such as La Fenice in Venice, Teatro Filarmonico di Verona, Dubai Opera, Sofia Opera and Ballet, the State Theatre Prague, Teatr Wielki – National Opera in Warsaw, the National Theatre Bucharest, and the Seoul Arts Center, among others.

Lilla Lee is a prizewinner of numerous international competitions, including First Prize and the Audience Prize at the G. Martinelli – A. Pertile Competition, Second Prize at the Spiros Argiris Competition in Sarzana, and First Prize at the Iris Adami Corradetti Competition in Italy.
