Radamès (impressively secure: Gabriele Mangione) becomes an alter ego of Zelensky.

The impressively secure high-register Radamès, Gabriele Mangione, is unmistakably recognizable as Volodymyr Zelensky.

Gabriele Mangione as her lover Radamès has a steel-strong tenor voice, which works well for such a vast space.

Aida, Teatro Coccia in Novara, 2024
Interesting was the performance of Gabriele Mangione in his first encounter with Radamès. We particularly appreciated a confident, natural vocal quality, well projected in the upper register. An artist with excellent potential whom we will be curious to hear again.

Aida – Teatro Coccia, Novara | OperaLibera
Gabriele Mangione assumes the centrality of the character of Radamès as outlined by Jona and, in his debut in this difficult Verdian role, dominates it with a splendid voice—both in the rich middle register and in the easy, radiant high notes (the B-flat in “Celeste Aida” is delivered with a boldness rarely heard). Nor is the lyrical and dreamlike side of the role lacking, which finds tenderness and sensitivity of expression in the Italian tenor.

Il tabaro (Il trittico), DNT Weimar, 2024
Gabriele Mangione, as Luigi, takes on one of the most vocally demanding tenor roles and masters it with great confidence.

She escapes into an affair with the charming employee Luigi (portrayed with a measured, bold tenor attitude: Gabriele Mangione).

Turandot, Detmold (role debut of the year), 2024
The young Italian tenor Gabriele Mangione presents Puccini's last great tenor role with nonchalance and apparent ease in his first appearance, showing a sophisticated role portrait full of color and emotion.

La Bohème, Aachen Theater, 2023
Gabriele Mangione had sung Calaf in the Detmold Turandot production the previous evening, but you don't notice this feat of strength in the young Italian for a second. On the contrary, he portrays Rodolfo with a secure tenor voice, a melting timbre and the odd sob in the right place, and he plays it wonderfully.

Turandot, Detmold, 2023
Gabriele Mangione, on the other hand, has the necessary mellifluousness and large-volume tenor brilliance that the role of Calaf demands. His Nessun dorma, the famous tenor-hit, was greeted with applause, but was still not the highlight of his admirable singing performance.
- Von Heide Oehmen, Rheinische Post Viersen
Gabriele Mangione not only embodied the prince credibly but also managed to give the tenor hit "Nessun dorma" an impressive melodiousness and impact.
